At NICCS, we present curriculum that involves the interests of the children and makes learning relevant to life. Using Alberta’s Early Learning Curriculum Framework (FLIGHT), we embrace children’s everyday experiences as the sources of curriculum meaning making. NICCS follows the FLIGHT curriculum framework. Curriculum at NICCS is reflected in the pedagogical observations and documentation on children’s interests and developmental needs that notices, names, and nurtures the holistic play-based goals of FLIGHT and children's dispositions for learning. 
Early Learning and Child Care is important to us because we are passionate about welcoming and building safe and caring relationships with children, families and educators through play and participation in our program. Our role as educators is to support children in becoming lifelong mighty learners, connecting to the Matters to be Considered as per the Early Learning and Child Care Act.
